Left Bank Chambers was founded in June 2017 by Richard Johnstone and Grant Slevin, together with Carol Armstrong as Chambers Manager.
Peter Woods joined Chambers in January 2024.
Richard, Grant and Peter practise separately and independently as barristers sole. They can be instructed by law firms or in-house counsel and in some circumstances are able to accept direct instructions. The basis for engagement can be discussed expressly with you.
Counsel share common resources within Chambers, with each operating their own computer system and using cloud-based online electronic storage. Confidentiality and protection of information, including between counsel, is carefully observed.
We promote the use of video conferencing facilities, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, when face-to-face meetings are not practical.
